Prof. Jonghun Yoon received Ph.D. degree from the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Systems Engineering at KAIST in 2008. He has been worked for Hanyang Univ. ERICA as associate professor since 2014 after he had experienced post-doctoral associates in Univ. of Florida and senior researcher in Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS).
He has been focused on advanced metal forming system supported by machine vision and artificial intelligence, which makes it possible to change conventional manufacturing process to unmanned factory integrated by collaborative robots. Recently, he has developed a medical image diagnostic system which can analyze X-ray and CT images for measuring the bone geometry and density, etc., for numerous parts of human skeleton linked with deep learning algorithm.
