Sun Huh is a parasitologist who works on parasite epidemiology and serology. After graduation from Seoul National University in 1982, he received his Ph.D. thesis from his alumnus University in 1990. He has worked in the Department of Parasitology, Hallym University since 1988. His other interest is the development of science and medical journals in Korea. He has worked for the Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors as an executive board member voluntarily and became a president in 2020. He has supported colleague editors to promote their journals to internationally top-tier ones. His daily works are reviewing and editing manuscripts for his journal, Journal of Educational Evaluation for Health Professions; writing articles; and, consulting on journal publishing. His mission is to promote science and medical journals in Korea to be indexed in SCIE, Scopus, PMC, and MEDLINE.
